Women and Religion Resolution (UUWR) – adopted 1977

Participants in the first UUA Women and Religion conference at Grailville, Ohio (1979).

In 1977 at the Unitarian Universalist General Assembly of Unitarian Universalists in Ithaca, New York, the Women and Religion  Resolution was adopted unanimously. This marked an herstoric turning point in the ways in which women participated in Unitarian Universalism at every level.
